This is what I wanted to post a couple of days ago when I was feeling whimsical about past holidays.
It was early Spring (early Autumn in Australia) in 2004. Hubby, then 2 year old daughter, belli sister in law and brother in law were sitting at a cafe in Ascona, on the Swiss/Italian border, drinking coffee and talking and laughing. Later my daughter and I sat on the shore of Lake Maggiore, made daisy chains and sang the alphabet song. A perfect day.
I took this photo because I love the (almost) symmetry of these trees.
