Somewhere in Italy
We went for a walk.
And found some old things.
Passed the Quatro Fontane
The River Tiber |
The Goddess Juno |
And stopped by the Spanish Steps.
Ahhh Roma!

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I do appreciate each and every one and will do my best to reply. I do apologise for the comment moderation I've been forced to put into place thanks to Mr Dark's spamming. It was not so much the spamming that bothered me - it was his appalling grammar.
Some beautiful sights!
ReplyDeleteRome is full of them :)
DeleteThe Spanish Steps are quite dramatic!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are. And there is a great story involving the steps that I will put in my next post.
DeleteSimply fabulous, Debs!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteLooks gorgeous, Debs, and I love that last piccie in particular! You look as happy as I imagine you'd be, lounging on the Spanish Steps. :) Reminiscent of a certain someone else ... we need to magic up a gelato for you. ;) x0
ReplyDeleteGrazie mille :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you know I was trying to channel my inner Audrey? ;)
Deeply lovely! I so adore that about countless places in Europe. Seemingly ordinary walks can be filled with amazing sights and experiences, as well as a rich abundance of history. That isn't to say that one can't find such elsewhere in the world (naturally you can), but I think that Europe has an especially high concentration of such.
ReplyDeleteMany hugs & happy mid-August wishes,
♥ Jessica
I so agree. :) xxx
