The Vatican - part 2
A quiet photo before we plunge into chaos, madness and magnificence.
Ready?
As I mentioned in the last post, photography was a challenge due to constant movement of the crowd that we just had to flow along with.
So most of the photos are not of the best quality.
A Romulus and Remus relief.
The ceilings were amazing. It's easy to get a sore neck on a Vatican tour.
And the floors are amazing too.
To be continued ...............
The Vatican, Rome - July 2015
Bonjour,
ReplyDeleteEffectivement il n'est pas aisé de prendre des photos avec la foule qui nous oblige à faire très vite !
Merci de partager avec nous ce joli reportage.
Gros bisous ❀
Ce n'etait pas facile mais just possible lol.
DeleteBeautiful! You'd never know there was a crowd with all those fabulous architectural and painting details up high!
ReplyDeleteLucky there were a lot of things up high to take photos lol.
DeleteBeautiful, even with the crowds!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes even with the crowds it was amazing.
DeleteWow, I love all the architectural details! Thank you so much for sharing, I feel as if I was taking this tour with you! :)
ReplyDeleteYour company is welcome any time :)
DeleteAh! these pics bring back memories of being totally lost in the Vatican - and perhaps missing the many beautiful art-works that lie within it's walls because my sister and I were more intent on finding our guide than treasuring the moment.
ReplyDeleteI think getting lost in the Vatican would have been amazing!
DeleteHello, what an awesome place to tour. I can only imagine the crowds. The ceiling and floor are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your trip! Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
