Grey day

The clouds came over, the sun disappeared, and Winter settled her wings.  The day reflected my mood.

Our garden chair looked lonely.  No-one has sat on her in days.

I dressed to match the day.  The overgrown puppy seemed to feel it too.

I sought solace and colour in my shoes.

  1. Gray days can be difficult and make us feel a little lonely. I feel like that sometimes here in OR during the winter. I just remembered our seasons are reversed. :) Your pup looks sleepy and relaxed though, and i'm sure he's great company. And colorful shoes.. well you can't go wrong there! I love love your red Mary Janes!

  5. Debs, the gray days make the sunny ones ever much brighter... I really do enjoy an occasional gray day...

Love those red shoes and I even found a petite. Pair on a little miss in Parc de Monceau!

  6. Genie - yes the grey days do make the brighter ones brighter. And they never last long anyway.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I do appreciate each and every one and will do my best to reply. I do apologise for the comment moderation I've been forced to put into place thanks to Mr Dark's spamming. It was not so much the spamming that bothered me - it was his appalling grammar.
